About Me

I fell in love with photography the first time I developed a roll of film. It was spring 2024, I was in Hanoi, and as I looked through those 36 frames I felt something I'd never felt before: the way I see the world had been translated through a camera. Perhaps it's a tired trope to many, but it felt like magic. I've always looked at the world with wonder, curiosity and a sense of romance, but from that moment on, I finally had a tool to play with all three.

Connection is at the heart of how I work, and it starts with the person in front of the camera. After years of selling software, and slightly fewer travelling the world, I've learned that good communication means being a good listener, whoever you're talking to. I'm informal, warm and happy to chat for as long as it takes to feel at ease. When I walk into a room I notice its energy, and when I meet someone new I'm often curious about who they really are. The camera helps me answer that question.

I work with community-led brands, making observational lifestyle photography that captures the essence of a place and the people in it. Portraiture is one of my favourite ways of doing that, because it frames who someone is in one specific moment in time. I'm based in South West London and taking on new projects. You can see recent work in the portfolio, or get in touch to talk about yours.
